A franchise agreement is a contract between two parties, a franchiser and franchisee of a business name or business system lending. The agreement shows that the franchiser agrees to lend the trade name or business system to the other person called as the franchisee. The contract incorporates information like the consideration to be paid by the franchisee, the usage of the brand name, the arrangement and clauses for compensation, fines and cancellation of the franchise.
